Passenger Services Agent
Our client is an international airline that is in the process of opening a station in the New York area. They are seeking a Passenger Services Agent to join their US team at their New York operation.
Scope
To ensure efficient and superior service is provided to passengers through the supervision of the Handling Agent. Achieve excellence in the KPI’s of on-time departures / Baggage delivery & customer satisfaction. Effect implementation of the established plan of action / guidelines set by the ASM / Duty Officer.
The Role
Carry out the work at the airport as directed by the ASM / DO. Observe Departmental and special rules, regulations and procedures related to airport operations.Resolve the operational problems for an on-time departure in consultation with the DO / ASM. Respond and resolve passenger complaints and requests and where appropriate report and take up with the ASM / DO. Liaise with all departments to achieve operational efficiencies. Liaise with Airport Authorities and Governmental agencies. Ensure all Health and Safety standards and Security procedures of the company are within the appropriate guidelines.
Qualifications / Experience·
- 2 years airport experience in a similar or equivalent position
- Overall knowledge of airport operations
- Good communication skills in written and spoken English
- Knowledge of computers and systems
